Chapel

Our chapel is complete. It is a beautiful building, warm and friendly, with lovely craftsmanship and magnificent views. Landscaping will be commencing soon.

From September onwards the Chapel will be available for day visits for worship, prayer, reflection, seminars and other gatherings. BBQ facilities will be available. Please ring Peter Gill, 0414 864 329 in regard to bookings.

Prior to completion of the main building, El Kanah will soon be able to offer lodge and unit accommodation suitable for individuals, families, camps and small groups. Some examples of groups who might stay with us are:

• Farmers
• Students
• People with disabilities
• Carers
• Golfers
• Tourists
• Community organisations
• Youth Groups
• Photographers
• Service clubs
• Families
• Business

We will provide notice about the timing of availability of accommodation as soon as possible.

The Chapel will be available for use in conjunction with the lodge accommodation.

The Quiet Room

This room will bear the name of our great friend and wonderful supporter Eugene Veith, sadly now deceased. Eugene had a great love of El Kanah and all that went on within its walls. He was the founder of Mission Enterprises and through this organization generously supported the work of El Kanah, both financially and through passing on his wisdom, encouragement and heartfelt prayers.

Family Rooms

We are very grateful to the Salvation Army for their kind sponsorship of El Kanah’s two family rooms. We appreciate the recognition that the Army has given El Kanah in its work to help disadvantaged families. Their generous donation will indeed ensure that these rooms are very comfortable and provide a lovely place for families to enjoy.

We also take this opportunity to thank the many Salvation Army members who have devoted time, energy and enthusiasm to El Kanah.
