All was quiet as we drove through Marysville at 4.45 p.m. and proceeded, with our six remaining staff at El Kanah, to enjoy dinner together after a busy but enjoyable 12 days with Mission Aviation Fellowship. At 6.40 p.m., hearing the roar of the fire, we went to our car, knowing that everyone had to leave immediately for Alexandra. We praise God and are very thankful to Him that we were all kept safe. Our grateful thanks also go to our friends Judy and Doug for taking the eight of us into their home and looking after us so well, until we were able to leave the following evening for Melbourne.
