El Kanah is a place of refuge and restoration.

Surrounded by lush vegetation and magnificent scenery, El Kanah provides a tranquil setting where individuals, couples, families or groups can come to be refreshed in body, soul and mind. We offer our guests warm hospitality and delicious food in a friendly Christian environment.

A call to rebuild

El Kanah was originally built in the early 1930s. While those buildings were destroyed in the fires of 2009 the spirit of El Kanah is very much alive. Rebuilding is underway and a dedicated team is bringing to life a bold new vision.

This is the El Kanah of the very near future – modern, comfortable with all of the facilities that visitors could need while retaining the charm and warmth of the original.

The site of our new home is alive with activity. Our chapel is complete and the main buildings are due for completion by early 2012, their foundations built not just of steel and concrete but of passion and enthusiasm for all that El Kanah represents.

El Kanah is a not-for-profit and registered charity. We are actively recruiting partners, sponsors and volunteers to join us in this wonderful project of rebirth and renewal.
